Raymond J. Tatlow Jr., age 92 of Gwynedd Estates formerly of Lafayette Hill died Wednesday (3/13)at the Penn Hospice at Rittenhouse
He was President of the Raymond J. Tatlow Co
Mr. Tatlow was born in Phila., PA, the son of the late Raymond Sr..and the late Margaret Loughran Tatlow
Mr. Tatlow was a graduate of LaSalle College H.S. and The Drexel Institute of Technology now Drexel Univ.
He was a WW 2 Army Veteran ..
Following the war he taught at the former Dobbins Vocational H.S.in Phila.
Mr.Tatlow was a former president of the Whitemarsh Lions Club and a past president of the Men of LaSalle and was also a former board member of LaSalle's Alumni Assn.
He was a former coach for Whitemarsh Little league baseball and Biddy basketball along with coaching for the Catholic Youth Organization. Mr. Tatlow was also a past president of the Associated Builders and Contractors Assn.
For many years he was an active member of Saint Philip Neri Church in Lafayette Hill.
He was a large contributor to the Ronald McDonald House when they first organized. He also attended faithfully the Men of Malvern and he was an avid golfer and Phillies fan and was a member of Sandy Run CC.
Mr.Tatlow was a true family man and enjoyed for many years vacationing at the Jersey Shore with his late wife and children and grandchildren.
He is survived by
one daughter: Mary Jane Walker (Mike) of Wilmington, DE
three sons: Raymond J. Tatlow III (Claire) of Ambler, PA, James M. Tatlow (Terry) of Malvern, PA, Paul V. Tatlow (Jackie) of West Chester, PA
10 Grandchildren, Kevin (Kaleen),Connor,Jimmy,Leslie,Brian,Nick,Greg,Jack,Brendan and Audrey .He was preceased by a grandson-Andrew.,
Friends may call Monday 3/18 from 10-11am at Saint Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA. and Sunday from 5-7pm also at church.
Funeral mass will be held 3/18 at 11:00 am in the Saint Philip Neri Church,
Burial will be in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham Contributions may be made to to the above church
