Please share a memory of Keith to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Keith Rossiter of Mount Joy, Pennsylvania passed away on June 30, 2024, at the age of 77 years old. He was surrounded by his loving family.

Keith is survived by his daughters Prudence Holmes and Megan Zimmerman, his son-in-law Alfred Zimmerman and his two grandsons Brent Holmes with his wife Elyssa Holmes and Anthony Zimmerman and his three great granddaughters Scarlett, Autumn, and Emery Holmes.  He is predeceased by his parents, Donald, and Doris Rossiter.  His wife Ada Rossiter and his brother Randolph Rossiter.  His extended family and friends will sorely miss him.

Keith was a devoted son, brother, and husband.  He took care of his father and his wife Ada when each of them fell ill.  He cared for his brother by helping him around the house.  He was a loving and caring father and grandfather.

Keith was and will always be a US Marine.  He served two tours during the Vietnam War and became a Surgent before he decided it was time to go home.  He never left the US Marines he stayed as an active member in the reserves.  He received four medals while in the military, National Defense Medal, Vietnamese Service Medal, Vietnamese Campaign Medal and Good Conduct Medal.  Once he came home to his family in Philadelphia, he started his career as a roofer with the roofers’ local union 30.  He was a skilled roofer that became a foreman towards the end of his career.  He was always the roofer who got the job done and worked well everyone.

When he retired from roofing, he filled his days with babysitting his grandson afterschool and going to the gym.  He was very active, and he stayed fit throughout the years.  He moved to Mount Joy after his brother passed and he found the community of Mount Joy enjoyable.  He loved his neighbors and his church.  He became an active member in his community and offered a helping hand to anyone who needed one.  He would love to have deep conversions about his beliefs and politics.  He never shied away from those topics which made him even more endearing those who had the pleasure of being his friend.  He will be greatly missed by all.
