Obituary of Lucy C. DiGiacomo

Lucy C.(Desiderio) DiGiacomo, age 94 of Lafayette Hill formerly of Roxborough, died Monday (3/3) at her home in Lafayette Hill surrounded by her loving family. She was a Home Maker and had also worked at the Sharp Corporation in Conshohocken until age 70. Mrs. DiGiacomo was born in Phila., PA, the daughter of the late Paolo and the late Maria Ciccerone Desiderio. Beloved wife of the late Thomas A. DiGiacomo Sr. who passed in 1982. Mrs. DiGiacomo was raised in North Phila. and moved to to Roxborough in 1968 to raise her family. In Roxborough ,she was a faithful member of the Immaculate Heart Of Mary Church. In 1994 she had moved to Lafayette Hill and became a member of Saint Philip Neri Church. Years ago she and her late husband Thomas were members of The Sons of Italy. Mrs. DiGiacomo was known for her love of cooking and taking care of her family and will be sorely missed by all. She is survived by one daughter: Paula DiGiacomo of Lafayette Hill, PA two sons: Alexander DiGiacomo (Anna Maria) of Lafayette Hill, PA, Thomas DiGiacomo Jr. (Pina) of Lafayette Hill, PA 7 Grandchildren- Alex Jr.and Kate, Annamaria and Donovan,Thomas III and Heather , Damien and Elisa , Joseph, Adam and Nicolas 13 great grandchildren-Matthew, Jasmine , Maria , Meghan, Gia, Alex III ,Damien , Gabriella ,Isabella, Wayne , Jada, Dean and Lucy Nina. Friends may call Friday 3/7/2014 from 9:30-11:30am at Saint Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA.. Funeral mass will be held at 11:30 am officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham. Memorial donations may be made to Keystone Hospice, 8765 Stenton Ave. Wyndmoor,Pa. 19038
