Obituary of Robert F. Dean Jr.

Bob Dean, 73, of Plymouth Meeting died May 13, 2015; his final days were spent surrounded by family and friends. He was born on September 9, 1941 in Philadelphia and raised in Germantown, PA by Bob and Evelyn Dean. His father owned a gas station and his mother was a homemaker. Bob attended Germantown High School and married Eleanor (Henderson) in 1962. He owned RF Dean Trucking and worked for Delaware Valley Concrete. His interests included family, friends, fishing, cars and motorcycles. He devoted much of his time and energy to friends. Mr. Dean is survived by his wife, Eleanor (Henderson), son Bob (Virginia) , sister, Anne Dean of Bristol, PA; brothers, Michael Dean of Englewood, FL and Jack Dean of Del Ray Beach, FL.and grandaughter Emily. His visitation will be held from 4-7 PM Sunday May 17 at the Chapel of the George Washington Memorial Park ,80 Stenton Ave.Plymouth Mtg.Pa. and Monday 5/18 from 10-11am also at the chapel. His Funeral service will be at 11AM . In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
